Pediatric Shonishin Treatments at SWAC
Gentle and effective treatments for wellness and health
On Feb. 7th and March 21st, Southwest Acupuncture College senior students will be administering free pediatric treatments under the supervision of licensed acupuncturists Soma Glick and Tuesday Wasserman. In Eastern medicine, "Full Moon" clinics are offered to treat a child's constitution and to promote wellness in the child. Our advanced students, who will be graduating in August, will be offering Shonishin treatments to children in our community using safe, gentle, and effective techniques to treat the whole person. We have observed that children who receive regular treatments get fewer colds, and thrive with these beneficial immune regulating techniques.
These clinics are best suited to children ages 6 months old to 10 years of age, and because we will be treating people in a community style setting, we ask that you refrain from joining us if your child has an acute illness to prevent the spread of germs.
